Sneak Peek at Sid

In order to help get your wheels turning about which Sid Dickens Memory Blocks you want to reserve in time for holiday delivery, here's a sneak peek at the Fall and Holiday collections! I wasn't able to get to the big show in Atlanta this past week, so these photos come courtesy of the wonderful Sue from Traditions Unlimited, a retail shop in Erie, PA. Click here to view her photos of the new blocks, snapped in the artist's booth.

Once again, Sid has outdone himself!

Oh, and the number five? Only my favorite number. Did you know that the blocks are available in any letter and in digits one through nine? Here's a unique way to personalize a room: spell out Le Bain on your bathroom wall or your child's name above his bed. As a wedding gift, give the happy couple the numerical date of their Big Day. Possibilities, possibilities...

I love those! They make such a wonderful visual impact, and are stunning alone or in large groups...

These Sid Dickens Memory Blocks are fabulous! And I am really loving the new Fall and Holiday collections. I just have to narrow down my selections to see which I would like to order! Decisions, decisions . . .

Abby,
I just got done going through both of your blogs. What a treat! I am in the midst of deciding about a shop as well and I enjoy all the advice and thoughts.

I wanted to let you know of a couple of other blogs about shop owners if you are interested. You may already read these, but maybe not...
curioussofa.blogspot.com
elizabethhousestlouis.blogspot.com

They both have shops in St. Louis and actually know each other and they each have separate shop owner blogs as well. Elizebeth just closed her shop but is doing other retail things and her archives are amazing. They both are and I think you would enjoy them.

Thanks!
Cheryl

Hi, Cheryl--

Thanks for your kind comments about my blogs. I do, in fact, read both Curious Sofa Diaries and Elizabeth's blogs. They are both such gifted ladies. I consider them to be my mentors-from-afar.

I will check out your blog, as well. Thanks for stopping by and introducing yourself.
